Most motorcycles can use car oil filters. In addition to car filters being less expensive they are typically longer and therefor offer more filtering surface as well as hold more oil.
The page is a few years old so it doesn't have new bikes listed but you can usually find an older bike that uses the same filter then use the cross reference to find a car filter that will work.
