Ok so my trip to Iraq got cut short (see the news on Mosul) so I am now in AMsterdam until the 27th training some of their folks here.

I thought it was just an old wives tale but it is seriously accpetable and not punishable if you see a bicyle not chained down or locked in anyway, to just take it and ride it until you get to where you want to go.

Now it is considered bad juju to then lock the bike you just stole at your end desstination.
