Ride June the 13th

Post by DarcShadow » Sun Jun 07, 2009 9:41 am

This will be a quick moderate or a slow intermediate, depending on who, and the number of people that show up. It's also going to be a long ride. We'll leave Sonic at 8:00 and get back around 4 or so, don't have a route yet, will work that out later in the week.

Assuming the weather holds good, how many will make it? The better idea I have of who is going will help me decide on the route.

Let me know the route, I might ride with you guys for a while and then split off. Only if you are going south. A couple buddies and I are riding to Austin on the back roads. We'll be leaving around the same time as you guys. If nothing else we'll meet you guys at Sonic and head out from there.

Ok, I have a route planned out, very simular to the one I led last time (avoiding the dirt roads, at least the ones I know about).

Total trip from Sonic back to Fox & Hound will be 300 miles.

There will be several options to make the route shorter if needed. Post up if you plan to make it.

Me and my girl might be up for this. Only problem is that we have never been two-up on the FZ before, so will the pace be tolerable for someone getting used to two-up on a newish bike?

yeah, you'll be ok and if at any point you feel it getting too fast just ride your own ride and I'll get the hint. And if I don't, just say something to me at the next stop.
