Another DC transplant moving to the area!

Tell us a little about yourself and say hello to the gang. We would like to hear about who, what, and why you ride as well as how you found us.

Welcome to the boards. You'll be getting to town just in time for the start of the riding season. Hope your move goes smoothly, and we look forward to meeting you when you get in town.

Yup were happy to help, but I'd stick to help with the area, directions, and the things we know. Like he said, were dysfunctional, most of our therapists have given up on us already. :( :-) :-) :-)

:stupid:

its not that hard to find your way around down here. I moved down here almost 2 years ago and now I can find 3 different walmarts. I hate walmart.

Just a word of advice, be careful what you say around this group, it has a good chance of going to the gutter quick. I'm one of the nice ones in the group.

I couldnt type with a straight face.

What would you be if you were attached to another object by an incline plane, wrapped helicly around an axis?

My argument was that closet-gays are the ones that feel they have to violently defend their hetero status. Besides, I am one of the nicest guys in the club. Except with the mouth of a sailor and a mind so dirty you could easily farm it :-)

These guys are mostly all harmless, but pretty entertaining at times. There are only a few you have to watch out for, but I'll let you figure out who those are on your own. :))

So, to get back on track, Thriller, what sort of work is bringing you down here to our neck of the woods?

Ah, clever girl, for clarifying... :whip: I don't blame you one bit, crime in D.C. is way high. I've got a friend that works for the Dallas P.D. if that's where you are going. He looks almost exactly like Christopher Walken, except he's got a gun and a badge :???:

I'm just going out on a limb here, but transfering to a unit here from DC, your going to be Federal Level.

So with that in mind, time for me to disappear. ... j/k... :-) :-)

na, she's not federal, she just heard about the Dallas SWAT team having some .50cal sniper rifles and wants to play with the big guns. :-)

As for finding your way around, look at a map for awhile, then get a GPS. Once you lean the layout of the major roads it's pretty easy to get around.
