Barber registration is open!

Post by sckego » Thu Jan 07, 2010 10:16 am

http://www.ridesmart.info/catalog/index ... 3d2a96693f

$360 for the two-day event on August 14-15, 2010. The registration page shows $180 for a 50% entry, so you can either buy two 50% entries now, or or one now to reserve your spot, and the second one by April 30. I'm about to go and reserve my spot in L2, and reccommend that anyone else who wants to go do the same. Spots will probably dissapear pretty fast...

Who's in:
sckego - L2
fireblade - L2
darcshadow - L2
willk675 - L2
Meat of Snail - L4
grinner - L1

I'll do the same thing just as soon as I can get to the website
Random stuff I say:
Women are like square roots, if they're under 17 you just have to do them in your head.

What would you be if you were attached to another object by an incline plane, wrapped helicly around an axis?

I'm going to hold off on this for now. If everything works out I should be able to get out of 2/3 of my debt by May or June. Then it depends on how much money I have left over. Unfortunately I don't think I will have enough.

I would like to go but I don't think it's going to be able to happen. I've still got too much debt right now, and unless my ex decides to refinance her truck in her name, I won't have it. :((

Update from Ridesmart via TWTex:

L1 - ~40% filled up
L2 - ~75% filled up
L4 - ~40% filled up

Pretty impressive for three days worth of registration.

...and one day later, L2 is sold out, as it no longer appears on the RS website. Damn that's quick...

Guys, what levels did you all register for?

This late in the game, he might have all the volunteer instructor spots filled.

FYI, Dave still has some room in L1, L4, and Ty's class for both days

Dave is offering a special... Take Ty's class both days at Barber ($100 total) and recieve a credit ($50 value) for taking a third class from Ty at any of the normal Ride Smart tracks (3 Ty Howard classes for the price of 2)
