March Trackday Give Away

Post by DarcShadow » Fri Feb 26, 2010 1:53 pm

A bit behind schedule but here is your first chance to win a free trackday/school with Ride Smart. There are 2 trackdays
Scheduled for March but since the first one is only a week away and in Houston we'll hold off on the drawing till March 8th, twelve days before the second March event MotorSport Ranch in Cresson, Saturday March 20th.

This is non transferable so if you win and find out you can't make it let us know asap so that a second winner can be drawn.
Drawing will be held 9:00am Friday, March 8th.

1) If you had cold weather gear, would you ride in the snow? Why or Why not?
2) What do you hope to gain by attending a trackday?
3) Add a caption to the following image:

1) I do have cold weather gear, and I do ride in the snow. :-) It's fun, and a challenge at the same time. It just demands smooth inputs and planning ahead for your braking and turning.

2) What do you hope to gain by attending a trackday? The three esses: Smoothness, speed, and sex appeal.

3) "Hey, uh, one of you remembered to bump up the preload, right?"

I have cold weather gear and have ridden in temperatures as low as 26 degress, but not in the snow. That's what the truck is for.

2) What do you hope to gain by attending a trackday?

Knees on the ground.

Riding is all about what risks your willing to take, and that is not one I'm willing to take.

2) What do you hope to gain by attending a trackday?

Yes I would, I have before & it really didn't bother me all that much.

2) What do you hope to gain by attending a trackday ?
To become a better rider, both for myself & those around me.

3) Add a caption to the following image:

After some request and talks with a few mods I've decided to move the drawing date up to March 8th to give the winner an earlier chance to register and ensure the trackday is not filled before they get in.

So if you want your chance for a free trackday be sure to enter soon, drawing will be held in one week.

Cold weather gear, do you mean a jacket? Yes, it helps teach you smoooothness.

2) What do you hope to gain by attending a trackday?
To look like Rossi or Spies while going around the track.

I hate it when it's Bob's turn to drive the car pool. Shouldn't it be a rule that you need to at least own a car to join our car pool?

1. I have a ton of cold weather gear (jackets, pants, gloves, electric vest, heated grips). Yet I would not ride in the snow. BMWs are not cheap to fix!

2. Better control in the corners. My bike is a beast on the straight and flat. But I need help finding the entry/braking point to a corner after that long straight.

3. Thirty years after appearing on Speed's "Super Bikes", the Dallas-based Stunt Kingz make a reunion tour at the famed 'Stroke-Hurst Ensure-House' on Ceaser Chavez Blvd.
