word.
It's a LOT more fun to talk about the oversized CAT! The Bird is still not road ready ... I'll probably be riding with DS in the Yellow Streak taking pictures and video (if we find a digital movie camera).Blizzard_1708 wrote:yes, your commants about my avatar being big were much better

It SUCKS to get old ... it sucks even MORE to realize it! Live for the moment every chance you get.

Alright, Blizz has hers I know, I don't think it's digital but either way we can get it converted easy enough. I'll see if I can get hold of her and pick it up for tomorrow.Bird325 wrote:It's a LOT more fun to talk about the oversized CAT! The Bird is still not road ready ... That was a pretty good ride. A few new folks out there, which is always nice. Blizz, you handled yourself quite well, and with a few more rides you'll be even more comfortable with everything.Blizzard_1708 wrote:Yes! Great ride, and to all you nay sayers who think I only pose on bikes at the homless shelter, I have 10 witnesses who can now say I ride!! PBBBBT! :P
The weather was pretty good starting out, but it started getting pretty chilly by 3. I really need some winter gear! As far as the route we hit some nice roads, some crappy roads, but I did like that route we took around Brazos Point, nice long sweepers and you could see for miles and miles.
Oh, and the Viper escort was really sweet!

Good ride today! It was nice to see everyone again and good to see some new faces. Welcome again Clay, and Blizz nice to see your bike made it in one piece. I know how the military moves can be sometimes Thanks Jeff for stepping up and leading, I had a good time in the back practicing wheelies even though the wind cut most of them short. Looking forward to the next intermediate ride, weather permiting of corse.

Oh, and thanks to Terry for saving the day for me! I had pulled into Sonic ready to go, and discovered a nail in my tire. He brought his truck over and took my bike and myself to Cycle Werkz to get a new tire. Cycle Werkz had me in and out in no time at all. And thanks Jeff for waiting for me!

However if bikes that nice are at homeless shelter, I'm gonna start trading cheeseburgers for bikes!
