Hey guys, need a spot of help.

Whats up guys? I'm in a bit of a jam. We're workin on my Dads 91 ZX6D Ninja, and we just replaced the exhaust(Muzzy) and, repainted, and gave it a good going over, (The guy who had it before us was, lets say, creative.) so its almost back together, And damn, that muzzy sounds good. Lol.
Now my question is, when you put the choke on, it just slides back into the off position. We've takin' the control box off, looked inside, everythings seems normal there. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks guys.

Isn't the choke used to start the bike when it's cold out?
I remember back in the day to pretty much, once the car started hold the power on for 20 or so seconds then that was it.
Otherwise tighten up a screw.

Did you check the choke cable itself? It could be a) broke or b) binding up on something? Will it start if you hold the lever in place?
I know more questions to answer you question, just what you need. Huh?
Check the cable first then the places where its connected to the throttle plates. If that not it post up what you do find out.
