I could possibly have Hico be on the route Saturday. Where exactly in Hico is the good pie?

Did they really have connections to the KKK or is it just because they had those initials?

BTW - there was something going on, on 67 West of glen Rose yesterday. 1:00pm the highway was closed, traffic was diverted down 205 to 51 to get back to 67.
When I came back at 5:00pm, still diverted. Lot of gravel on 51 from the trailers dragging off the road in those turns. Don't race down it Saturday, gravel and sand on it.

Strange, TXDOT's website doesn't show anything happening on 67. Thanks for the heads-up about 51.

To clearify, something happened on 67 Thursday noon ~ Police/Sheriff closed the highway for a time. It's open now.
All the traffic was divereted to take 205 to 51 south to bypass the section of 67 that was closed. ANd the other way, Diverted to 51, turn East on 205 to get to Glen Rose/67.
A lot of traffic on 51 dropping wheels off the shoulder kicking rocks/sand up onto the road.
I went to Hico at 1:00pm, and returned at 5:00pm. Detoured both times.

Pie is much better than Cake.
Pie was invented long before cake.
Pie is denser, you get more in every bite.
Pie is packed with calories so you have energy to tackle more pie.
Pie is good, cake not as good (unless it's Boston Cream Pie) and then it's Pie.

SWMBO says "Cake is better. Pull it out of the oven and put the icing on it while it is hot and it melts, then put the still hot piece in a bowl and put icecream on top..... so much better than pie!"
