Usually we try to get under the paddock so it is a shaded area.

I'll be out there first thing in the morning, and will be trying to get under the paddock. If there isn't room, I've got the club ez-up so we'll have some shade.

I'm aiming to get there at about 6:30. Wondering if I should swing by Grinner's first, or just head straight to the track. Creachcreach, what kind of truck/bike do you have?

Fantastic day, perfect weather, tons of fun. I'm pooped, going to sleep... more detailed debrief to follow later. Once I get my hands on some of the video I took I'll post that up as well.

It was a fun day, minus the fact that I was making adjustments to the bike, and paying more attention to that stuff, than staying hydrated. I got a little heat exhaustion, and missed a couple of the afternoon sessions. I wasn't out there railing, or going nearly as fast as normal, but I got the bike tweaked, and it feels good. So all in all a good trackday.

Great day to be out with great folks.
It was my first time on this track but I enjoyed every session more than any I did at ECR on 'The Day of Carnage'.
I really like the combination of turns on this track. Much more interesting than a series of 90 degree turns. And even the weather couldnt have been better. New Dunlops Q2's were fantastic, new suit was amazing, bike was excellent.
Perfect day.

you know what you need to do....Figure out how to get all the T-Rex's out here for a track day, and rent the track for the event. That was you can really unleash the beast!

It was fun. Getting a bit on the hot side, temperature wise, for me. I had to drink a lot of water. I really need to work on body positioning. I keep putting all of my weight on the handlebars when braking, and I was also not turning my hips enough when I was leaning off the bike. I am not planning on doing another track day until later this year.

Man, it looks so far away on video! While riding it felt like I was almost tailgating you guys... guess you really need to be right up on someone's rear tire for it to come out on video. Next time...

It does look far away on the video, but I'm sure the perseption is not the same when you have actual speed.

Also, if that was with the gopro, they have a bit of a fisheye lense that will make it look like they are farther than they really are.

We can make that happen if people want to get together for viewing, and if desired we can critique the riding as a group to help each other with places that have room for improvement.
