Just looking to ride

Hello to all.
My name is Randy and I bought my 2008 R6 in february of 2009. When I purchased it several of my friends also rode, but now all of them have either sold there bikes or have lost all interest. As much fun riding is we all know that its much more fun with a group. My other problem is that I work every saturday from 8am to 8pm, which has excluded me from riding with almost all other groups. My R6 only has 6100 miles on it so I dont ride as much as most of you do, but I am not one of those people that buy a bike for it to just take up room in my garage. So hopefully this club does some rides that I would be able to join in on. If not at least the forum seems to have some content.

Welcome to FWMR. Keep watching the boards. The club has a structure, only ride leaders can post up rides and they've been kinda quite lately. Life keeps getting in the way of riding.
Other than taking part in the Charity Ride Saturday the only other thing on the radar for the next few weeks is Bike Night next Thursday at Fox and Hound. Check it out and ride in.

I have had a couple people tell me that company is good to rent motorcycle from. I have never even looked at it, but you might wanna check it out and see if they are worth renting from.

Thanks for the link i checked it out. I am thinkin to ride a kawa 650R or this Can am Spyder:)i have never ridden on a 3 wheel bike...it could be interesting. but first i need to buy a helmet and at least a jacket. i left my leather and other stuff at home. and my bike which i miss sooo much

Dont know if you want to buy a bike or not but there is a kawi zx6r that is lowered already and has been taken care of at a shop where I live. I think it is like 5000 or 5500. There is also an older kawi 600 or so that is like 1200 I think. I can check into these for you if you want me to.

My Nephew bought a 2001 Katana 600F from Craigs List for $1900. Not the best most powerful 600 out there, but then I met a guy that didn't have a bike. And for $1900, could probably sell it for that a year from now.

Just so you know the older one wasnt that much older I guess it is a 2005 with about 15000 miles on it. It is a ninja 250 and the price is 1500/negotiable. I will let you know about the other one tomorrow as they are not open on mondays.
