make sure you tell Dave (of Ridesmart, not our Dave) that you want a parade lap. Sometimes he wont do one if he doesnt think anyone is interested.

I wanted to ask the same question. I'm wanting to sign up for Saturday but if the majority of the group is doing Level 1, I might just sign up for Level 1.
I will be sticking to level 1 this weekend beacuse I will be workin on the suspension most of the day sat and learnin a new layout on sun. Im figurin on bumpin up to lvl2 in June when I run the 3.1.

I really want to run with you guys, but I'm pretty sure I'd have to hold back or they'd boot me from the level. lol

Hmm, that will put "performance" pressure on them, if I go faster then Darc fails, if you go faster, Dragonfly fails, and in the end, neither you or I will be accountable for our not being faster than the other, I like it.

Even if I'm level 2 capable I'm going to stay in level 1, I want the option of coasting into the corners and cruising on the straights, that probably wouldn't fly too well in level 2.

I'll be there for the 1.3 day on Sunday. Sounds like a fun track for the smaller bikes.
I'm working on a new classroom course but I don't know if Dave will want me to teach it.

Hammering the straights and stomping on the brakes are 3/4 of the fun of a trackday.

Can't do this one, my car got $2k worth of damage, my roof got totaled, and a tire with 500 miles on it got punctured in the last week and now I can't afford it.

couple years ago my last truck got beat up, and we had to get a new roof, that sucked.

Oh, and judging from following you at ECR, you've got no reason to take it easy on the straights to let people pass you in level 1. You weren't holding anyone up in the turns.

Hello,

I'm a new rider, and just signed up for my very first trackday! Whoopee! I can't wait!

Although I have never ridden a sportbike, I have watched it on SPEED TV. They have excellent coverage.

I pick up my bike next week, the day before the trackday, that should be plenty of time for me to get use to it, right?

Anyways, Thanks, for letting me join you guys!

FYI, I ordered a used motor for the Quarter Hourse. Should get it mid-end of next week. If it works well, I will plan to run Sunday on the 250. Maybe they will let me ride with the L2...

Well...as of today my track season is over.
Darc...notify the second place of the drawing.

Now for the bad news...got home from FPS in weatherford with blade n willk in tow. Pulled into the drive and start hearin a knockin on the top side of number one.
(and no, this is worse sounding than the traditional knocking of a v-twin)
So, for now, i will be lookin into whether to rebuild now or just buy another motor and rebuild over the winter. I will keep yall informed as to the progress.

And for those crashin at the treehouse next weekend...the treehouse is still open.
Just FYI...for future reference...anytime there is a trackday at Cresson, the treehouse will be open to those ridin or supporting us that are riding. That way we can actually get a good nights sleep and not have to get up at buttcrack dawn to be at the track.

Hmm, looks like GSXRRider is contagious. :-?

Grinner, oh no!

Maybe we can talk striple into riding his SV to the next bike night. You need an engine, Will needs a mirror and protected plastics and flush-mount turn signals--I'll bring my tools and you can teach me all about part liberating. :D

Grinner dont you have 2 of them bikes? Seems like the perfect chance to give the other bike a day at the track. Dont be all one way. :)) Sucks to hear about your bike though.
