Oxidized aluminium Wheels

Any thoughs on non traditional ways to clen aluminium wheels. Minbe are so oxidized they are beninning to pit. Power tools are out due to my allergy to Magnetos

Simple, sell the harley and get a real bike.

The problem with the oxidation is not that it's dirty, it's that the aluminum is exposed. Aluminum will pretty quickly oxidize in air, so you really need to get the wheels sandblasted and re-anodized or powder coated.

I have kept them reated but think it is time to pull them off and get um re-done!

Yep, this is a problem I've found with alloy wheels on a car too. Most of the ones I've had were coated with a clear coat on top of the alloy to keep them from going bad.
