Looks like 20%chance of rain so far...not too bad! Striple and I will be heading down friday 6:45ish to prep our bikes and leave them there. If anyone wants to join just let me know, also if you need a garage i'm 30min from the track, or a place to crash for that matter. I'm so freakin excited! Also i got a new double bubble on the way for the bike and i decided that i'm just going ahead and buying a new front tire. I'll keep the old one for a good backup

I'm doing the ARC and riding for fun, but I'm also a backup instructor so I may be called to help out in another level.

I am now a 'hopefully'. I'm on the waiting list, since both level 1 & 2 were already full.

Fixxer, if you end up not making it, then maybe I can weasel into your spot. Not sure it works that way, but fingers crossed nonetheless.

If I can't make it, I will sell it to ya at cost :-D

Cause I could probably use that money for bike repairs!

If I was a praying man I would pray its just the throttle body sync and valves, but I will cross my fingers and throw down a woodchuck while I earn man points with the back door instead.

Works for me. Hope your bike issue is resolved without major expenses.

Bazzaz go baboom?

(I know it's not the Bazzaz, it was just fun to say)

Hopefully it's something simple like loose steering head bearing or rear wheel out of alignment.

It's in the motor.

I could feel it going from smooth to rough then smooth then rough sitting at a red light on Sunday and as the rev's get higher the vibration gets worse regardless of speed.

Tuesday I couldn't dig my knees into the gas tank because it felt like I was trying to grip a weed eater.

It was alos a LOT louder than normal, my ears were ringing with my noise canceling ear buds and my feet were numb when I got off the bike at cyclewerkz, only about 25 minutes of riding.

I've been a super bad boy on some of my maintainance, I've yet to have a throttle body sync or valve adjustment.

Last time I had it in the shop (winter) it was checked as within tollerance so I figured screw it I'll run it a while longer before I get it done.

I've read that throttle bodies out of sync can cause excessive vibration, I notice the mpg dropped as well.

All of these "changes" happened over a 3 day period so its not like it gradually got worse, something clearly is wrong.

When you rebuild the motor, are you going to add a turbo? :D

No turbo, but at rebuild time I was planning on having some "work done"

However, that was in a far distant future, say 100,000+ miles. If I get a call from cyclewerkz saying "rebuild" I'll be rippin it up on a 250 for a while.

I can't imagine it'll come to that, the machine is well taken care of, if it's that messed up there was a flaw in the motor when I bought it.

I had decided to truck my bike out there, my buddy was going to go with me and help load it, ect. Now he has to go out of town so I'm riding it again. It is confirmed the pumps are in fact open?

I have the banners and I believe Grinner has the canopy. If someone wants to swing by my place tonight after the bike night thing they can get them. Otherwise I won't have time to get them to anyone.

I'm not too far away for the banners, but Grinner is far away for that canopy.

Would someone see if Dave has any posters and get some for us to hang around town in the shops. He sent me some but folded them up and they don't look the best. If he has some unfolded ones at the track they would look much better hanging around. Be sure to let him know you're with FWMR when you ask for them.
