May 12th Ride - Moderate & Intermediate

Post by DarcShadow » Fri May 04, 2012 10:08 am

This months monthly ride will be a dual ride. Dragonfly will be leading one group and I will be leading the other. One will be moderate pace and one will be an intermediate pace. So all are welcome to join us. We will leave Sonic at 9:00.

We will try to plan the routes so that at the very least the two groups stop for lunch at the same time and same place. Please dress for the group you plan to ride in. IE, jeans are very strongly discourage for the intermediate group.

Why? You're no longer a meatball, you don't have to do what he says. If you think you're ready for an intermediate ride (which you are) then come on over.

What he said.

Go on the ride you want. If Fixxer doesn't like it, make him sleep on the couch.

You have to do your RLIT stuff on intermediate rides, didn't they tell you that?

I am not a RL but from my understanding you need to learn to lead a moderate before intermediate because you will have to lead a moderate once you are finished your training....you know, rotate leading a moderate with the other RL's. You just can't pick what type of ride you want to do when it is your turn to lead a ride. At least that is MY understanding from how RLIT works.

Running tail is pretty much the same no matter what pace so a RLIT can run tail for any ride.

Once you get to the stage where you're leading though we like to keep that a moderate, although leading an intermediate is actually easier.
