Who is riding?
Saturday June 2 is the 1.3
Sunday Jun 3 is the 1.7
I'm corner working Saturday and going to ride L2 on Sunday. I haven't signed up yet, need to dig up one of my track day credit codes.

It is. I wish now that I had signed up to work the 1.7 and was riding the 1.3 this year. I agree with DarcShadow, it's the much more interesting track.

It will also be the first of the month, which usually means work ask me to work! I'll have to make sure everything is covered for me, but it shouldn't be a problem

Either one would work, especially with a 650-twin. The 1.3 (Saturday) is a tight track with a nicely-flowing, continuous series of turns (six turns in all, although it does feel like a lot more than that). It does include some elevation changes, a tight hairpin, a fast, blind uphill turn, and two short straights. The 1.7 (Sunday) is the traditional track at Cresson. It is faster than the 1.3 track, and is a lot of fun to ride. It features several significant straights, eleven turns (several of which are quite fast), some minor elevation changes, and a short series of tight turns. You really cannot go wrong with either track, especially on your bike. I imagine that there will probably be four of five of us riding the 1.3 on Saturday, and then at least as many on the 1.7 on Sunday.

First time is free after that I think it is on the ridesmart website. Just go to cyclegear and get some of the built leathers or something and you will be good...

Yes, leather & boot rental is free for your first track day with Ridesmart.
I would recommend to go with the rental (as opposed to buying a cheap set from Cycle Gear) for your first one, since there is no point in spending a bunch of cash on something that you've never done before. Once you've been to the track and decide that you want to do more, then you can always start shopping for your own gear. I know several guys who went the cheap and immediate route, only to later wish that they had waited a bit longer and saved money for some quality leathers.

I would be one of those people, so listen to striple. This may be the one and only time he is right!

I'm not sure I agree about striple never being right, but I definitely agree about the leathers.
Track leathers are one of those areas where the more you spend, the more you get. I've found that the leathers that protect well, fit well, and most importantly in TX ventilate well are godawfully expensive. The $600 leathers kind of suck. The $1000 leathers are better, and the $2500 leathers are awesome.

Yeah, who ever numbered the turns was high. there about 6 "turns" between each turn. ha! It's a really fun track and is my fav for tracks in texas.

Meh, those are just squiggles. You ride them pretty much like straights, or slightly bent straights.
The only time you have to ride them as turns is when you mess up one of the "real" turns.

Come on Rhino, put up a grid, your first post is weak.
Want to know who's going on which days, your first post is no indicator of roll call

Those never match who actually shows. Too many people are a "maybe" until right before, and even people who register sometimes end up giving their spot to someone else who can't make it.

My grid was pretty accurate, and easier to read.
Don't be a slacker, get it up there so I can see who is going on which days!
