July Ride Smart Half Off Give Away
Ride Smart has 4 days in July, two at ECR, and two and MSR the 3.1 one day, and the 1.7 the other. Answer the following 3 questions for your chance to win a half off track credit to use in July. As aways the half off must be used by you and must be used in July. If something happens and you can't make it after winning the runner up will receive the discount.
There are no right or wrong answers, but please give them some though and serious responses (at least to the first 2 question anyway)
Drawing will be held June 11th, 9:00.
1) Since finding this webpage and club, what has been your best memory with FWMR?
2) What roads in the area do you enjoy riding the most? (something we could hit on a typical club ride)
3) What tune did the pied piper play?

Re: July Ride Smart Half Off Give Away
I'm not actually playing (I'm using corner credits for the 3.1 in July), but...
1. The camping trip. Setting up camp, the beer bong, the crazy fun, Melinda swimming in the lake and refusing to come back to shore, and everybody looking like hammered sh*t the next morning.
2. I like FM4 and FM51. There are also some really good roads north of Saint Jo that we never get to. It's a bit longer ride, but a lot of fun.
3. The Mickey Mouse Club song.

2) What roads in the area do you enjoy riding the most? (something we could hit on a typical club ride)
My favorite used to be 157 between Mansfield and Venus. Then it got resurfaced.

1) Since finding this webpage and club, what has been your best memory with FWMR?
I would have to say my best memory is riding with about five of the club members in the middle of January. The first thing I noticed was man this leader sure does like to make alot of u-turns. It was also my first time to be on a group ride. Even though it was cold and Matt likes to make u-turns in the middle of nowhere I had a blast.
2) What roads in the area do you enjoy riding the most? (something we could hit on a typical club ride)
I like to take 917 from Venus area all the way to Godley. Then from there take HWY 4 all the way up to Palo Pinto
3) What tune did the pied piper play?
The pied piper played the meat flute!!!!

A lot of traffic on that road, and some of the nicer turns have some deep dips in them.toy7521 wrote:I like to take 917 from Venus area all the way to Godley.

I've only ridden that road in the morning, and the dips were always in those turns that would otherwise be the most fun.toy7521 wrote:It's great about 2pm an if you k ow where the dips are you can prepare for them.

Yeah, but I've been trying to get on the boards to fill out the entry paperwork for almost a week now, but kept getting some DAMN ERROR talking about Dream host and crap like that! Surely, we get a little bit of extra time to register
and plus, it just states drawing held at 9:00, but it doesn't distinguish between AM and PM

Ah so many, camping trip, first Barber trip, many trackdays, rides, and parties. But up there is the moderate ride turned advanced followed by lunch downtown, followed by Joe Ts, followed by Sunday mammories.
2) What roads in the area do you enjoy riding the most? (something we could hit on a typical club ride) Cransfield gap, 51, 5 961 is nice.
3) What tune did the pied piper play?
No-one knows, he played it on a dog whistle.
