July Monthly Ride - Saturday July 21st (Moderate)

It's going to be an early start, sidestands up at 8am. Leaving from Sonic, going to head NW up toward Saint Jo then over to Meunster for some German food. Then depending on how everybody feels either the roundabout way back, or just a quick blast down I-35. I want to beat the heat with this ride.

This will be a moderate ride appropriate for people who haven't ridden with us before, or haven't done much group riding. 2-up is fine and there will be no need for leathers, so you can wear your mesh and stay a bit cooler.

No shorts for Goldwing riders.

This is 3 weeks out and I think the EARLIEST post-up for a monthly ride!!! Isn't the monthly ride on the second Saturday of the month and not the third or is this not the monthly club ride?

Yes, it usually is, but it's up to the RL as to when exactly the ride will be.

Just curious and not a big deal to me. I remember asking someone before and I was informed that they keep the monthly's on the 2nd Saturday so if people do not visit the forums regularly, then they know what day, time and where to show up for one. Like I said, no big deal. I was just curious.

anyone doing any Sunday rides ? unfortunately I have to work most Saturdays so kind of hard to go most Saturdays.

We're trying to get a good blend of Saturday vs sunday and moderate vs intermediate. So, yes, there will be Sunday rides.

I won't be able to make this. Bike is back in Austin right now due to the storms yesterday. Didn't feel like loading and unloading it, then loading it and unloading it again. Plus if I stayed up here this weekend instead of seeing the wife, the wife would probably think something was fishy. By the time I see her this weekend it will be a month since we've actually seen each other. Skipping it again would mean 2 months of time would have passed between seeing each other.
