Home now... Had a great time today!!!!

No, bird, I did not have to ride bitch... R6 is back, runs like a top, all fluids intact, even had the suspension done today. It performed pretty well on Darcshadows's "highway to hell" aka the road that turns into gravel.

It was good to see so many Yamaha's today... we are taking over! MUAHAHAH!!!

Check your manual, it'll tell you how much fuel you have once the light comes on. Typically it's about a gallon. So if you get 40mpg, then you can go about 40 miles before running out of gas after the light comes on.

You can do a little math and figure out how far you should be able to go. If you know how big your tank is, and how much you put in when the light comes on, the you know how much is left in the tank. Use that with your MPG rate, and then you should get a good estimate of how far you can go, but of course I wouldnt push it because getting stranded on the side of the freeway would just suck. :-o

Suzuki's step it up a notch. When I get to a gallon the light starts flashing slowly. When I get to 1/3rd gallon left, it comes on and stays on (like it is this morning in the parking garage). Basically, when the light comes on, you better be close to a gas station, or you're gonna be pushing. (or calling Blizz for her truck and ramps!)

Makes me feel old... my first street bike was a 1984 Honda Magna... it was 10 years old when I got it.

Hey, We all know that *I'm* old, but if I were riding a '50 bike when I got involved in riding .... IT would have ALREADY been an antique. Super Dave, you never cease to amaze me. Do you remember when it was really COOL to have a Trail 90?
