Bewts for Bewst

Post by Bewst » Fri Jul 06, 2012 11:34 am

These good enough?

http://www.alpinestars.com/shop/categor ... lane-shoe/

I wouldn't mind getting something to ride in that are better than skate shoes and will work at the track too and intermediate rides. I don't want a full blown boot though.

yeah those are wayyyy better than what you have now, but if you plan on doing track just save your money and go get some full blown boots. I'm pretty sure they would let you on the track on a normal track day, but if your going to be riding lvl3 soon then you will need a real boot. :)) just go to cyclegear and get some bilt ones. danget why you gotta be difficult

LOL - they look like Air Jordans. I definitely wouldn't ride with those things at the track, but you might be alright on the street.

yup those are what i have and several other members. Decent boot, has been holding up great...does not let in any air whatsoever! The sidi fusion is on the same level as that one.

Cyclegear has them online only. Call Motoliberty and see if they have them.

almost every place(cyclegear) will have the smx-5 and the sidi fusioin boots. It will be hard to find a place that has the cobra airs in stock.

If you need the boots by this weekend, either settle for something different or call Moto liberty to see if they have some in the store. Otherwise, if you are not in a rush, order them online and just wait for them to be delivered to your house. :D

Motoliberty to try on.

For everyday and weekend riding I'd look at something these...
http://www.alpinestars.com/shop/categor ... rt/s-mx-2/

http://www.rideicon.com/product_details ... 2&id=12300

I've got the older model of the icons. They aren't so comfrotable to walk around in all day, but are much better after I dropped some gel inserts in them. And cyclegear should cary the icons.

I'm not a huge fan of the brand in general, but the Dianese boots were at least as good as the SIDI's, and for my foot, were alot more comfortable.

Just get a full blown boot, don't mess around with the air jordans, that's like half way doing it right.

Once you get used to a boot you won't want to ride in anything else.

If you have a choice between vented boots and non, I'd go with the vented. Between the texas heat and the heat coming off the bike, any bit of air flow through them would be nice. Mine has none

Na, no holes and good sole, no reason to get new. They'll just get dirty and look like the old ones anyway. I go with the idea, if it ain't broke, I don't need to replace it.
