Problem getting bar ends off

PB Blaster will also cut through Red Locktite. When I got my new mirrors they had red locktite on the pivot screw and were toqued down. Let some PB Blaster soak on them for a good 5 minutes or so, and put some muscle behind it, and they let loose.

can you buy that PB Blaster at O'reilly's or Autozone?

Yuppers... You should also be able to pick it up at any hardware store, ie. home depot, lowes, ace, etc...

We used PB Blaster on 60 year old rusted bolts on the tanks and WWII vehicles, it may need some time to penetrate. It is great stuff though.

No, I still have to ge one , Lowes didn't have any

Yeah, depending on how deep the socket is, it may need some time to penetrate, reach the locktite, and take effect.

finally got the bar ends off! , Dealer was able to get them off. They even broke a Snap-on screw driver getting second one off. Finally they got the 2nd one off with a Kobalt screw drive and a wrench!
