rim tape

got some rim tape coming in, anyone know how to install that stuff?

I believe all you have to do is clean the rim good and just stick it on like tape. At least that's what I did with the pin stripping we put on Melissa's bike rims.

It's such a small area you can easily work the bubbles out to the edges with your fingers.

Looks sweet if it works, I tried one of those fancy tools for applying masking tape when preparing to paint an interior room, and found that was the biggest ripoff ever. Kinda like those plastic caulk removers too. JUNK!

I just washed my wheels then eyeballed it.

Turned out ok, but got a big grease spot in the carpet from me spinning the wheel on the carpet as I put the tape on (long story)
