I dropped the canopies off with Grinner, if you all want them you'll have to swing by his place and pick them up.

Good stuff today Rhino and Striple. Thanks for stopping by Grinner, Rick and Monster. Had a blast as usual and tightened up my lines a little bit. Hung out with a guy who is from around denton who was nice as well. He didn't have a good day...bike broke down first session...his 2nd bike ran out of gas the 2nd session and the 3rd session he lowsided, right in front of me. It was crazy and scared the crap out of me because i wasn't far behind, but i was gaining in the corner. Luckly he was alright and his race bike didn't take much damage. Day was awesome for weather until last 3 session which it took a down pour! I rode it all the way to denton lol. Thanks for checking up on me striple. Good time guys, i enjoyed it!

Another good track day, we all called it quits after the after-lunch session. Everybody was hot and tired, but no crashes or anything. I had my first run-off, did an off-and-on in Rattlesnake. I was playing with my lines in the 2nd session and found one that led off the track.

Ya don't say, i recall you telling me that you would never run on the track!!! I'm just givin ya a hard time is all. It's bound to happen to all of us. Glad that's all it was and you're ok.

No, I've always said you never *have* to run off the track. If you run off, you screwed up. And I definitely screwed up.

So how did the cruiser/tourer class work out on the 1.3?

Pretty awesome if you ask me. Fair amount of them and it looked like they were having a blast. It looked like they were going in slow motion in the turns lol.

I still think that the cruisers would have much more fun on the 1.7 CCW than on the 1.3 mile track. That being said, I'm sure that putting that group on the 1.3 was a business decision.

If he had gotten off the bike at all, he would have drug knee. not those silly highway pegs. I gotta get some of those.

We were talking about this at The Dragon. Brian, an instructor, said it was probably a case of a large group approaced Dave and asked about a special session. And since Barber was just the week earlier, and lvl 3 guys don't typically like the 1.3 as well turnout would be rather low.

Turnout overall was quite low this weekend, especially on the 1.3. There were only 12 riders in L2, so the track was wide open (sans the usual trains). Sunday was a bit more crowded, but nothing like the typical RS event.
