I used to listen to NPR quite often. Now I just ignore it all and listen to my Sirius Sat radio... And I stay away from the political channels.

I was considering a career in journalism until i served on a jury for 4 weeks when i was 19. when the trial was finally over i went through some of the newspaper items written by the reporters i had seen in court every day and none of the columns had any bearing on reality. They didnt just make mistakes on what happened in court - they lied. They all made up insane bullshit to sell more newspapers. i've had nothing but contempt for reporters ever since. every time I hear news on something I know about its just sensationalized bs. news reporters are just hacks who wish they could write novels. (I'm sure there are some good ones out there, but they're drowned out by the hacks)
