Try the fairing stay your gauges are mounted to.

Is that the one on the left side of the bike? If that's it. The only problem I saw was that you would have to remove the left side fairing

On my VFR I mounted it to the inner fairing panel... http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/inde ... /?p=470210" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just need to find a spot with enough clearance behind it to accept the plug, and go to work with the dremel.

If it didn't come with one, you should also get an inline fuse to add to protect the rest of the bike.

I zip tied mine to the ignition. Looks good and is out of the way. One day I might drill a hole in the fairing infill panels to put it, but nothing's wrong with where I have it

I think I'm going to wire in a power block on mine soon, mainly just so I can put in a couple USB connections for charging. It sucked not being able to charge comms at gas stops, charge my phone, etc, on a long haul trip. Which I plan on doing again in the near future.
