Moderate Club Ride 4/7 - CANCELLED

Post by Telomere » Thu Apr 04, 2013 2:44 pm

I know this is short notice but I will be leading a short moderate ride this SUNDAY 4/7. Looks like the weather and temps are going to be nice so dress appropriately.

We will leave from Sonic on Clifford and White Settlement at 8am.

UPDATE:
Hope you guys check the boards before you show up, but it's now approaching 2 am and our 6 year old is laying in bed screaming with an ear ache with no end in sight, neither Telomere or I are fit to ride let alone lead a ride.

Unless another ride leader is present or something, this ride is off, at this hour it is too late to notify the backup RL.

Sorry for the late notice, sometimes these things pop up at the most inconvenient times.

The ride ends at the Malt shop in Weatherford. You don't have to stay to have a malt/lunch there. If you do, we should be done by 1-1:30pm.

Have plans already this weekend, so unfortunately I'm out :(

If the weather stays nice, I can also do one next weekend. This weekend was chosen because, well, it is April and it usually rains all the time. This weekend is forecasted to be nice and dry so I figured I would take advantage of that instead of waiting and hoping that next weekend is nice and dry.

If you do one that following weekend, can we make it Sunday? I have to work that Saturday.

If we do two rides, it still counts towards my meatball total, right?

If they are two separate rides on two separate days, yes.

Yeah, of course. Just wanted to make sure people were aware the 7th is the "scheduled monthly ride" and there may or may not be a ride next weekend.

Time of departure change!!!! We will leave sonic at 8:30am instead of 8am. Demonduck wants to make this ride but he gets done work at 8am. I am willing to push the time back so he can join us. If he doesn't make it, he will have lots of 'splaining to do. :) .

That sucks I hope the kid gets better. Ear ache's can be horrible. I will check back before leaving the house to see if any ride leaders say it is a go. If not I will still go to Sonic to let anyone that shows up that it is off.

Rick and beck, sorry to hear that about the lil fella :( maybe I heard him because I woke up at 2:30am. I think we still have some ear solution from Gavin's ear infection, so text me if you guys want it. I'll go doublecheck just to make sure. I'll show up at sonic as well......
