Geez man. You are good to go. Since it is getting warmer out, I would think that the tracks come in sooner so you won't be up to pace for many a session or two. I'm glad you were finally moved to level 2 and now have the confidence to ride level 2. Before you know it, you'll be level 3 knocking the socks off of miles :D

I used to have the same thoughts. I've been eagar to write a review which is odd, but several things happen this weekend that i want to remember and have down in writing:

I have been a nervous wreck this last month because of my first time in lvl 3. So much so that it has even rubbed off on friends and job...yes i know that is absolutely stupid. If i would have just listened i would have known that i was going to be fine.

The day started off good, i was passing people and not getting passed, but nearly every time i would come into the rattle snake the front end would push...so bad that when i pulled off to check things out the track marshal mentioned it to me. 2nd session the same thing. I could feel my confidence slowly fade and i wasn't running what i knew i could do. I was so worried that if it was happening in one corner that it would happen at a high speed corner. After some talk with a few good peeps we lowered the pressure on the front tire and i did my best to make smoother transistion. It fixed the problem!!! By this time it was past lunch and i was highly disappointed with myself.

I skipped a session and ran one session in lvl 2 with steven before i got back out(i was drained...and well talk more about that below). I went out to my last session with a fresh mind and well rested. I finally started pushing the bike the way i know i can. There was a guy who was faster than me, but i would catch up in two corners every time. I don't know who he was, but i learned sooo much from him. THe last session put me in a much better mood and i walked away happy.

Everytime i've went to the track i've stepped my game up greatly. At the end of the day i knew i was going to be going much much faster than i ever had. At the end of this track day(last session), i left with what i knew i could already do. I'm no where near hitting a wall, but there will be no more big improvements, it's all fine tuning now. Oddly i'm happy with that, because it tells me i am heading in the same direction that the "fast guys" have already been.

So overall i believe i got passed 8 times, once on the inside...it gives me a grin to think about it! I did a lot of passing and felt like i was where i needed to be to improve. I even got my first inside pass!!! Biggest lession from lvl 3, it absolutely drains every single ounce of energy you have.

tl;dr Tire issues drained confidence until last session, which i ran what i already knew i could & should be. Time to fine tune, this is what i've been waiting for.

I pushed once in rattlesnake, it sucked, there is a bad patch of pavement at the top of that hill. When I pushed the front on the 1,3 it was like a smooth slide, in rattlesnake it shook the bike like rumble strips with the front jumping out on every rumble. I had knee down when it did it, slowed down after that.

I shouldn't have let it affect me as much as it did, but if youre pushing there then what about the other corners!?! But the problem was fixed and I learned from it, what more could you ask for!

Not sure if that's a question but.. I didn't have the issue in any other corners.

No, that was a question I was asking myself. I was just waiting for it on all the other corners

The Supercorsas are fantastic tires, and are in a completely different league compared to Q2s. Glad you liked them and had a blast out there!

I'm considering the power one (cups?) but the profile of the tire has me concerned, I don't like the V shaped tires.

fixxervi6, sounds like you need to get that 250 out on the 1.3, I think you'll run just fine in Lvl 2 there.

I'm building the other 250 up specific for the 1.3. I need more track time on them tho, my braking points and everything was screwed all to hell.

I coasted into rattle snake so much it was annoying, used to braking WAY back there on the 750 so I'd brake in the same spot on the 250 but I was only doing like 85 :-)

I screwed up braking into rattlesnake, shifting coming out of wagon wheel (kept running out of revs early), downshifting into buzzards neck (hit ghost neutral 75% of the time) braking into tombstone (braking way too early).

I'm satisfied with the back shots like this, shows me my body alignment in relation to the bike. One of the things I wanted to really work on was cleaning up my foot work, I'm satisfied with the result.

I remember now, There was this big guy on a Kawi 250. He was chasing this little girl on a GSXR 600. I think he was trying to flirt with her. He would get close in the turns and she would put a little distance from him in the straights. It looked like she was going to make him work for the hook up.

Looks like you're target fixating on Becky's ass. Not that there's anything wrong with that but you should probably try looking through the turn.

After looking at the pics I need to tighten my lines up and get over my curb fear, I miss the apex clipping point by several feet everywhere, too scared to get closer to the curb.
