Welcome to the boards. Do you also ride the street or just track? What day were you at the track? I hope the fellow FWMR peeps behaved.

Is this Charley from Level 1? If so - I was your instructor on the Aprilia. I hope to see you again at another track day soon.

Definitely ride the street too! I believe I was t the may 19th track day. Everyone was good. But I'm sure most people got tired of having to pass me.Telomere wrote:Welcome to the boards. Do you also ride the street or just track? What day were you at the track? I hope the fellow FWMR peeps behaved.

I was out there on Saturday May 18th. I am sure people didn't get tired of passing you. They most likely would have been ticked off if they couldn't pass you. Since you ride the street too, keep an eye on the club rides section for any posted rides...some ride leaders like to post up last minute rides (I am guilty of that) so subscribing to the club rides section may be best.Chafj45 wrote:Definitely ride the street too! I remember fixing up our military ID's so we could buy drinks at the club. I really wasnt nervous at all because we did some good work! Re: New Member
When I was a teenager in Germany (drinking age 16, so we start even earlier), we would use numbers of cigarette tax labels (same age for cigarettes, but there were public vending machines that made getting those even easier) that would match our IDs to make us 16 or older. Worked like a charm. Good times.DemonDuck wrote:I remember fixing up our military ID's so we could buy drinks at the club. I really wasnt nervous at all because we did some good work! Re: New Member
We would take our military ID and copy the back of it then take the numbers we needed out of the copy and paste it to the spots we needed on the ID and copy again. Then we would copy the copy... cut out the ID part and use self laminate sleeves and cut the edges to be the same size as the ID. The only holigrams and such where on the front of the ID and the age was on the back so it worked like a charm.
