I believe it can vary from rep to rep, but I have been told by my State Farm rep I would be covered. However she also said had I told them what I was doing when getting the insurance in the first place they likely would of sold me insurance.

I've heard I should be covered as long as I show it to be a rider course and not just a track day.

Educational course or rider safety course is the key... any mention of "track" in the name implies racing in their minds... which would not be covered

A lot of companies will cover as long as it's not a timed event.

Allstate: "we don't care where you ride as long as it is not a race or timed event". That's what it they told me when I asked.
