1.Don't stress, buddy up with a member and everything will be fine. I'd be there around 6am(ish), basically enough time to prep the bike. Bring painters tape, knife, tools to take off anything you need to(which is really nothing if you tape it all). That way you make it to the riders meeting. It's nice to know what fuses you can pull, but not a big deal. Yes, before my truck I rode to the track, backpack and all. Never a problem, I was tired on the way home, but it would never stop me.Polokid69 wrote:Not sure if I can get everything together in time for tomorrow . Sorry for the late post but I've been busy with Lori since she had her surgery Monday.
I have some questions,
1.what time do I need to be at track and since I don't have a trailer, is it ok that I ride it down to Cresson ?
2. I have the leather pants but my jackets are textile or mesh, can I use the textile jacket ?
3. Do we have awnings to cover bikes in between rides ?
4. I have stands for my bike, can someone carry it down there for me ?
2. I'd suggest you get there early enough to get a free set of leathers since it's your first time(do this first, you get a better choice).
3. Very good chance some member will have up an awning....who cares if your bike is under it? You need to be, even with the clouds out it's nice to get under something.
4. You don't need stands, you can borrow someones if you need to fix something, but other than that your kickstand works fine!
Get with members to help you get to class and back on time and out on the track when needed. Off of one track day your street riding skills will greatly improve! I'm extremely happy you are taking this. Check out the ridesmart web page for addition info or text me if you have any other questions.
