Been there, done that, not gonna do it again.
Random stuff I say:
Women are like square roots, if they're under 17 you just have to do them in your head.

What would you be if you were attached to another object by an incline plane, wrapped helicly around an axis?

I guess technically I could go ride around my apartment complex and knock this one off :-)

Tried to get the Miata motivated toward work this morning in the snow. No dice. All it really accomplished is getting stuck in the road in front of my place up here. I guess that's what they mean when they say don't drive the tires of 200 UTOG rating in the snow... I barely got it out of the middle of the road and now it's parked facing the wrong direction in front of the house. Said fuck it after getting it back to that point.

Heck, I thought you guys were joking about snow. We had a light dusting, nothing that would hinder traffic. One of our FW vendors said they couldn't make it...I thought "you're kidding". Maybe the weren't.

It wasn't that much snow, but rear wheel drive + no weight + one level down from track tires = no Miata movement... If I would've had my truck this morning, it would have been nothing.

Saw a lot of people trying to derive their vehicles up streets that were inclines with their rear wheels spinning not going anywhere.

Don't they know that traction is an integral part of getting where you want to go? Spinning your tires just isn't coefficient.

Sounds like there is a whole lot they don't know.

Did anyone catch the video on the Thursday night news with the lady sitting the middle of 635 after she rear-ended someone, the airbag knocked her silly, and she gets out of the car and sits in the middle of the road...then suddenly another car comes speeding by on the ice, narrowly missing her and ripping the open door off her car? She never even knew it happened until later when someone showed her the video. I would have wanted to whip the guys ass (okay, probably get mine whipped) that came zooming by, but I have to say he did an admirable job of not panicking and maintaining some level of control...it could have been very disastrous.

yeah I saw several people going down western center yesterday just smashing the fuck out of the gas. I sat at 35 for 20 mins waiting for some one to figure out less gas is better. However this morning i was having a little fun with lack of traction.
