KTM Superduke 990 $5600 (not mine)

Post by Rhino » Thu Jul 24, 2014 6:54 am

Saw this on TWT. If I had the free cash I'd buy it just to have a stupid bike in the garage.

There is definitely another stupid bike in my future. Too bad that all of my play money is currently being swallowed by racing, otherwise I'd be all over this.

I had a Super Duke. Funnest, best non-dirtbike I've ever owned, and they're really comfortable, too. I have an irrational desire for the new one, ex. I know I'd be tempted to ride it around on one wheel all over the place.

Nope, that was not stupid bike money. That was cross country, the fun way, bike money. Stupid bike money is the money being saved for the next addition to the lot.

10-4, including a money-pit Kamasaki. I wonder if he's buying a new couch instead?

If Miles ever wins the lottery, he is going to have a garage full of all sorts of furniture.

I have one that is large enough to accommodate 3, though the wife only allows the 2 of us on it. :(

Tried for 10 years to get that girl to switch hit. Gave up. Told her it tastes good. No dice.

I'm just saying, she may be more amenable to a different configuration. How's it fair if there's just one switch-hitter? :D

We had opportunities to swap when we were younger with friends who we both liked... she was still not down. Would have been great too, that was a really boring evening until the other couple proposed a swap. That night I also learned that she doesn't particularly enjoy friends watching her getting...

...anyway, that is a badass KTM.

Maybe she just likes the current switch hitting that is going on and sees no reason to change anything up at this point?
