Funny add

Post by DarcShadow » Mon Oct 06, 2014 6:35 am

Saw this on craigslist this morning.
This chain link was making my wife of 7 years jealous. Ever since we bought this house in May, we've had this can't connection, it's electric and neither of is can help it. I believe in another lifetime this chain link was a sweet call girl or escort; call me crazy, but every time I'm in the back yard the fence "calls to me" in its own fencly, seductive way. My wife caught me flirting with her 3 days ago and that was it, she said it was either me or the fence, so here I am, reluctantly posting this fence on Craigslist for free to save my marriage. Hopefully you can give her the love that she needs...if so, email me back!! Bring a truck or large suv because she is very heavy

I need a link, and is it possible to make a chain linked fence, electrified? Ya know, like a normal electrified fence?

Don't see why not. Would probably require a larger power source but no reason you couldn't.

You'd need to isolate the entire thing from ground, wouldn't you?

Just insulated mount points where the it attaches to the poles, I've seen similar setups for cattle and it works fine.

Once I grabbed a fence with my left hand while grabbing the metal grounded pole with my right, it sucked ass.

Yeah, but you were a 16 year old pansy at the time. You should try it again, I'm sure it doesn't hurt as much as you remember.

I grew up on the ranch. I knew a couple of cattle truck drivers that took an old wooden walking cane with the hook for a handle. They drilled two holes in the end of the straight end and inserted two nails sticking out the bottom end. They then mounted two of those big square 6-volt batteries, wired in a push button, and viola! It would literally jump "fire" about two inches...on bad-ass "hot shot".

Once way back I was out appraising property, walking around and came up on this lone wire at the top of a hill, about 3' up from the ground. On the other side of the wire it was downhill.
Not thinking what it was - I stepped over it, but you know the downhill side of that step. It was lower.
Yea.
I was talking soprano the rest of the afternoon.
And I sure know what I'm looking at now.

I use to work for a guy that designed and built a proto type of an electric whip. Basically a cattle prod, only in whip format. Crazy stuff.
