Who's bringing the box fans to the next club camping trip so we can do this?

So would that constitue an open flame or is it ok since it's in a fire pit? ha!

I'd like to see MythBusters replicate this. Not sure I fully believe it, but if it is real, they then amp it up and that'd have to be a hell of a fire show.

its real i have seen it done with 4 leaf blowers
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways thoroughly used up, totally worn out and yelling at the top of your lungs "Holy Shit...What a ride!"

I could see leaf blowers, I wouldn't think standard box fans would create the velocity needed to do that. I'd still like to see MythBusters ramp it up. :D

Standard box fans put out quite a bit of air when you crank them on high.

Here's a model that might do the trick. http://www.bigassfans.com/product/airgo/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The name of the company is Big Ass Fans...seriously. This particular model is 101" high. That's 8'-5".
