Guys, I'm sorry, I'm having a really hard time getting hold of Dave, and I suspect he's not having any trouble selling spots, so if you haven't registered already you should probably go ahead and do so if you want to ride with us. I'm not sure if I can get any half-offs for the mid-November day or not.

Trust me, track days are worth it even without the discount, and first timers still get free leather rentals, that's a standing offer from RideSmart.

Ouch. Considering that L1 is already sold out for both days, that may keep all of the new guys off the track altogether.

Yep, and that would explain why Dave isn't getting back to me with half-off codes, since he's full up.

He should at least let you know that he is full and can't give any more credits. Common courtesy.

Or you should be able to contact someone who will get back with you. :D

Hey, he's got a business to run. Getting back to me about losing money is waaaaay down on his priority list.

Doesn't matter, common courtesy IS good business -- especially considering that a number of riders in this group are regular customers of his. First timers that were planning on this would now be SOL, and that is terrible for business. I like Dave, and hopefully this was just an honest goof-up, rather than a calculated move.

Having worked pretty closely with Dave, I'm 100% confident it's a goof-up on his part, and on mine as well for not following up more closely.

Ok, I just went back and looked at the e-mail thread with Dave, and I have to apologize to the new guys. This was totally my screw-up--Dave had e-mailed me asking me to call him this week to discuss, and I totally dropped the ball.

I'll talk with him Saturday and see if we can get something going on the 18th for the 1.3 for you guys.

Shit happens. Glad to hear that it was just a mistake, and kudos to you for working to get it right.
