I don't cringe at the thought of spending money on suspension, i cringe at the thought of not having money to spend on it!!! On that note at the end of this season was the first time i've felt that i could feel what it was doing and that it's time to upgrade for me.

Thats my deal, it's not that I don't want to, it's just that the last time I checked, I don't shit gold nuggets. The 750 needs it bad, it's like a pogo stick, totally wore out.

I did the fork seals on my bike for $70. It's easy to replace them.. It just takes a little time.

If I was in your situation I would just replace the seals. And then I would worry about upgrading the suspension when I was comfortable with the bike.

For a 225-lb rider on a bike that is mostly a street bike with occasional track days, you'd want 1.00-1.10 kg/mm in the forks (as opposed to .850 kg/mm stock), and 7.8-8.0 kg/mm at the shock (as opposed to 7.6 kg/mm stock).
