10.18.2014 - MSR Houston

Post by shilka99 » Wed Oct 08, 2014 6:47 am

Looks like I'll be heading down south for this event. Would anyone else be interested in joining me for the weekend?

I've never done this track before and I'm looking forward to adding another track to my collection.

Its a fairly technical track, which makes it pretty fun. Its also a track that can bite back pretty hard: always remember where the bus stop is, and watch the turn that puts you onto the front straight--it is both bumpy and can weep, all while you're largely pointing your bike at the concrete wall.

At the CMRA races at MSRH a few weeks ago, we had four (!) transports in one day: one by ambulance and three by helicopter. All of them ended up being severe injuries. Like I said, it bites back.
