Loose is good. And don't pretend like you know how a broom fits your hand.Stardog84 wrote:I kind of try to just not exert firm force on the bike from any direction. Just ride it like I'm trying to do it without the bike knowing that I am there. Just loose. Fingers wrapped around the bars no tighter than I would maybe a light kitchen broom, for the right hand just the minimum to get traction on the throttle. Just let the bike do it's thing.fixxervi6 wrote:So my primary point of starting this thread, too many people ride locked up, gotta ride lose. You don't "drive" a bike, you "ride" it, think about that.

They make brooms for men? I thought only women were allowed to buy them...

I am a factory worker. I have spent plenty of time with my hands on a broom. And when I say kitchen broom I mean a type of broom not necessarily the place where I am using it.

My woman is just as likely to whoop my ass as I am hers. We decided to buck the norm and be happy instead. And I have for the record operated a broom in the kitchen plenty of times as well.

Last time I even saw a broom in a kitchen was when I was a kid at my Grandma's house.

I leaned one up in the corner the other day...sadly my hands reacted off of muscle memory, but I made sure Amy didn't see me with it.
