Another road rage incident caught on video.

Post by stoney812 » Wed Jul 15, 2015 12:02 pm

Not sure what lead up to this, but I'm impressed at how this biker handled it. You should probably think twice before trying to attack someone wearing a helmet.

I watched this one last night. The guy on the bike played it much cooler than i probably would have. Lucky for him it looks pretty clean and cut with the video.

What the hell was the driver taken to the hospital for? The only injury I could possibly see would be a broken hand from hitting the helmet.

He's probably going to claim some state of shock or something to try and get him out of this

You could see a whole bunch of "oh shit" on his face once he started calming down a little, realized he was videoed, and there were witnesses every where. Obviously a lot of pent up rage toward motorcyclists for some reason...or maybe he's just a prick.

Hey miles, dude...how old are you? :SideSplittingLaughter:

This has been all over social media for the last two days. I think the rider acted perfectly, almost too perfectly for my taste. I think a couple of well-placed jabs would have been a good learning experience for the raging cager, but I guess you can't have everything in life.

I kept waiting for the headbutt. I don't get the mentality behind trying to punch someone in the face when they are wearing a full face helmet. If you're going to hit them in the head, it should at least be an open palm to the side of the chin causing them to twist their head and possibly fall down.

I must have seen this video posted 5 or 6 times in Facebook. He definitely would have been beat up a bit more before it was over if he had hit me. No reason to attack someone for cutting you off. Yell at them and flip them off, don't attack. Hopefully he gets some jail time.

And I wouldn't consider lane splitting at a stop light cutting someone off. Might not be legal, but it also doesn't endanger anyone like truly cutting someone off and forcing them to slam on the brakes can.

Not me, I'd have kept filming and said "may I have another sir".

In all seriousness, it's much easier to keep your cool in that particular situation because you are wearing a helmet. And as hard-headed as this dude was, and head-butt may have not had much effect.

It was hard to tell what limitations he had in being able to do so, but it looked like a good time to ride on to me, especially considering his passenger's safety.

I have come to the point where I stop asking what is wrong with people. It's sad. Too many pissed off people, too many hotheads, too many morons looking for a fight. Why? Because they're butthurt. Go see a shrink and let that shit go. It's a choice. If you choose a life of anger you are already dead because that is not living. Too many zombies.

On the upside there's still plenty more good in the world and I can still see what IS right with people. Phew. ;)

The first time I saw this the poster said the old guy broke an ankle so went to hospital instead of jail. Who knows what really happened.

They showed it on Entertainment Tonight and said the older guy admitted he had like 4 shots of whiskey prior to the altercation. I was very impressed with the biker and how he kept his cool, I sure would have lost it and wailed on this dude.
