New bike!
New bike!
I finally upgraded from my 500 and picked up a 1986 Ninja 1000r. I'm currently waiting on tires, chain and sprockets.. It looks like it won't be ready for at least a week. The bike was stored for about 15 years and recently came out of storage 6 months ago.

Nice! Does this mean you will be bringing her to the next bike night or possibly next club ride?
Re: New bike!
I'll probably get the bike back on Tuesday. So unfortunately I won't be able to make it.Telomere wrote:Nice! Does this mean you will be bringing her to the next bike night or possibly next club ride?
My tires have to be shipped from Wisconsin because no one stocks the 120/80 16 & 150/80 16 tires for the bike. I've also found out that parts are EXTREMELY hard to find.
This is what I get for buying a dinosaur..

Yeah, that bike looks very nice and clean. And I think it qualifies for the "classic" plate too

That GSXR was a ground up garage build for me. My first time to do EVERYTHING myself. Machined parts and all. Fun for sure!
