This is not a FWMR sponsored event, cross posting from TXSR, they are trying to organize across several chapters. Many here are members of both so putting it up here as well.

Friday October 7 - Arrive/HangOut , There is a Catfish Buffet and Live Music 5:30PM to 8:30PM live music plays later.

Saturday October 8 - Breakfast Buffet is avaialable, we will eat then ride all day.

Sunday October 9 - Ride 1/2 Day (some will pack and go)

Monday October 10 - remainder of people leaving as needed.

This is the dates and info. A couple of items for all organizers.

FULL GEAR required if you have leathers wear them, helmet, jacket, gloves, MOTORCYCLE boots, knee guards, and good jeans or riding pants. These roads are a long ways from help with little to no run off in a lot of areas, GEAR UP.

Make sure the motorcycles are in good order, before you come to Leakey inspect them. Tires, Chains, Sprockets, Loose Parts etc. We have had someone show up with a worn sprocket before.

If you've never been to this area these are some of the best roads in the state with great scenery. I will know as the date gets closer if I will be making this trip, I have a TON going on right now so I can't personally commit at this time.
I'll keep an eye on this meetup, if there is enough interest we can coordinate trailers/etc as the date gets closer.

As an additional note, I personally don't feel these roads are good for newbies, some sections are technical, have guard rails, gravel is not uncommon, but, if you haven't been you must put this on your to do list at some point, it's worth the trip.
