Sorry rhino I missed where you said you were riding Sunday. Fish and I had a blast out there today. I hadn't done the 1.3 since a certain mid-corner altercation took place and I forgot how much fun this little track can be. I was dicing with instructor Jorge on his ZX-10 and we had some crazy fun. It such a shame this track isn't as popular as the 1.7. It takes patience and precision to lap quickly. Something Fish and I saw a distinct lack of in the second last session.

Just a quick update from Sunday, Fish R1 crashed in the 2nd session. Apparently he target fixated on a guy that ran off in turn 1 and went off the track himself. It appears he grabbed a bunch of front brake in the grass and lowsided hard. He's got a bruised shoulder, a cracked rib, and a little bit of road rash. Damage to the bike is mostly cosmetic as far as Grinner and I could tell, and he's going to need new leathers.

He got a hospital trip out of the deal but was released by the end of the day. I packed up all of his stuff and took it to Grinner's place, then took his keys and wallet down to the hospital and hung out with him there for a while.

Big thanks to Ann for chasing the ambulance and keeping him company in the hospital and Grinner for storing his truck and bike until he can reclaim them.

Oh, and Fish, I did head back to the track and got in 2 more sessions in the afternoon as instructed. I got my first legitimate L2 pass in the last session.
