They make heated glove that I've heard work great! You can probably find some heated pants as well.

When I was up north I use to wear snowmobile gloves. They worked really well. And for my legs I'd just wear some sweat pants over the top of my jeans.

Nothing wrong with a 600. Several of us in the group ride them. Nothing better then smoking some one on a liter bike at the track when you're on a little 600.

Are you lowering it to drag race? If so the lower the better and handling isn't really a concern. However if you plan to ride it reguarly my first guess would be to lower it the same but that's just a guess. I think falling off a clif would be more likely. Expecially if the driver happened to see what he was haulling. He'd probably drive off the clif on purpose.

Some times when my screen loads the light blue background comes in last and for a sec the main background of the forums page is where the test is. I think that it looks better and easier to read then the lighter blue. The blue is just too light.
