Really? I was under the impression that an actual battery tender will turn itself off when the battery's charged, compared to a trickle charger that'll run indefinitely. Was I misinformed?

Yeah, that's a trickle charger at my foot. Evidently there's a difference between one of those and an actual battery tender. I had no idea, and neither did the guy at autozone. I suppose that shouldn't have been a big surprise though.
