What a day! I had a freakin blast, and so did Gabe. I definitely felt alot more comfortable this time then my first trackday a few months ago, probably becuase I already kinda knew the track and the corners, and what to expect. Both Gabe and I had brief off-track excursions, but no crashes. Gabe went wide in one of the left-handers, I think it was the one right after pit-out, and into the grass at the exit. I went into Little Bend too hot in the final session (trying to get a pass done on the straight after Ricochet), brake-brake-brake-target fixate on the track edge, and went straight off into the grass. Probably could have made it if I'd got off the brakes and heeled the bike over, but I couldn't do it mentally at that moment. No problems, both of us kept it upright and got back on track.
By the end of the day, my legs were killing me. Six twenty-minute sessions is freakin exhausting! I could barely make it up the stairs when I got back to the apt. Feeling better now, though... legs still a bit sore, but not so much that I couldn't ride to work
So who's signed up for 9/17 on the 3.1mi? I'm going to Nebraska that weekend for the 'SC game, getting back Sunday night, and I'm probably going to be completely wasted after that weekend.. but I'm still tempted to sign up for it. Level 2, this time, I think.

Glad to see you back, Jeff
I had a great time, but the heat finally got to me near the end. I had my suspension tweaked by Roger from on-road off-road and now she is even more agile and responsive than before!
Here are a few pics from the day:

So get this-- Vic askes me the other night if it would be possible to go 2-up on the track. I can keep up a decent pace when riding with her on the bike, but I thought it was an awesome idea to be able to practice our body positioning and riding style together, in a controlled environment. I shot off an email to Dave asking him about the possibility. What do you guys think? Good/bad idea?

two up would be fun but I don't think you'll be able to find any one that'd let you, at least not during a normal track session. And they're not really going to want to give up track time for two ups. Best bet for something like that would be to make friends with some one that has a membership and see if you can go out with them to do that some time.

Overall we had blast and everybody made it back safe. I got some pics too but I'm waiting for my file download, and then I will post some HD pics on the picture section.
