I had a guy do a standup right in front of me at TWS a few weeks ago.
This is why he went home early:

I believe if you watch closely he's not the only one doing a standup.

What level was he in that he felt that he needed to display his prowess to all of the other riders? And does his yard sale have anything to do with your extensive moto inspection?
