So who's going to the this last track day?
I'm already signed up and I'll finally get to use my free track day from working the RS booth at the bike show last year. :-D

Have them enter the give away on here for a chance to win a free track day, maybe that will entice them to go.

I'm in... just talked to Dave, and he agreed to allow Vic and I to do a two-up again! Well, he actually said we'd start just with the round robin and the first session, and then see how it goes from there. Woohooo!!!! :D

Hope you guys had fun. I had to back out of going since I got laser surgery on my eye earlier this week. Really sucks since now i'll have to wait until next year to get on the track, but oh well.

Great track day guys. Glad to see Sckego out there with his girl teaching people how to take a turn almost dragging knees with a passenger in the back. Some people were really impressed, some were freaking out, and I was proud that one of us was the first to try that stunt and it work out.

Red Bandit good to meet you, and your family in person, and hopefully you and the family will join us for bike night this week, if not maybe on the next ride. BTW good job on the track, I was able to follow you for about 5 laps, and I'm impressed how well you handled that K1200S.

Anyhow guys, this was the last track day for the season and now we wait till next year to have all that fun. In the mean time be safe, and remember that back roads are not the track, so wait and wait some more and it will be worth it. See ya all soon.

We were taking it pretty easy, too. Last time we didn't start clicking until the 3rd session or so. Yesterday it was pretty cold in the morning, so Dave asked us to not go out 2-up until after lunch, which I thought was a reasonable request. By the time we got out there it was 1 PM and the track was gripping really nice, and we were having a great time, gradually picking up the pace each lap. We were getting pretty comfortable with it when the checkered came out... Vic was really excited about getting to go back out again, when Dave came by and said we looked really good, riding together safely and well, and then asked us not to go back out. :(( Disappointing, but it's his call, and we thanked him for at least letting us out there for the one session. He said several people were asking him about it, expressing interest in getting out there 2-up themselves, so I'm hopeful that next year it might become a more popular thing.

Anyways, I had a great time, and so did Vic, even though she was only out there for 20 minutes. I'll post up some higher-quality pics when Vic picks out which ones she wants to order. Thanks again to RS for putting on an awesome, well-run event.

I'd almost bet the reason he asked you not to is because of the amount of questions about it he was getting and he's probably not ready to take that step of letting more people do that. Doubt his insurance would like that much either.

I could be wrong and hopefully you two will get more chances to do that in the future. Looks pretty sweet.

Dude sweet pic. You got some cojones I'll give you that. I think you'll make a hell of a track instructor. Think about it, is free track time.

An instructor (JC, on the RC51) followed us around for a bit to get some video

Then he hopped on my bike for a ride

We only got to do one session 2-up, but I had fun riding solo as well.
