Unofficial Off-Week Bike Night - Twin Peaks Bedford 7/29/10

Thursday, July 29 isn't one of our "normal" bike nights, but we are going to do an unofficial bike night get-together at Twin Peaks in Bedford. We're not expecting as big a crowd as normal, and if you have to choose between one of the other, we'd rather you come out to the regular bike night at F&H in three weeks time (our next 'official' bike night is 8/12!). But, if you're hanging around this Thursday with nothing to do, feel free to come by Twin Peaks and hang out for a while.

Twin Peaks is located at 1700 Airport Freeway, Bedford, on the south side of the freeway, between the Fuddruckers and the Super 8. From 183 eastbound, exit Bedford Rd / Forest Ridge and stay on the feeder through the two intersections. From 183 westbound or 121 southbound, exit Central Dr / Forest Ridge, go through the Central Dr intersection, and hang a u-turn under the freeway at Forest Ridge.

Twin Peaks hosts a regular bike night on Thursdays, and the parking lot on the east side of the building should be cordoned off for bikes.

Food? It was ok
Atmosphere? Not really much, cool to see other bikes come up
Eye Candy? seemed good, but none of them ever came out so who knows
Parking? Good parking, thought the biker peeps were mad at us though haha
Location? just ok
Drinks? I only had one beer and i didn't look at the price
Entertainment? where we were at none, inside they were playing trivia
Service? well below par, i didn't feel like the girl cared about us at all
Whatever else you'd like to mention. I am not a fan of this place at all!

Yup, TP fail. I think it would be OK for just a small group looking to sit and chat, not so much a larger crowd like we have.

I like the location just because its so close to home, but that is about the only thing I like about it.

I think BJ about covered it well. Even just going up there with a friend or two for lunch, I've never really been impressed with the place. Was even less impressed last night. Service was worse than I've ever had.

So on that note....how many folk tipped the service last night? Just curious.

I still tipped 20%, it's hard for me not to, who am i to say that weren't having a bad day and things weren't going right, but it wouldn't have bothered me to go lower this time.

I tipped like I normally do. The service has to be real bad for me not to tip. It was bad, but not that bad.

I didnt tip, but then again I only drank a water and didnt pay for that either...
