Thanks for the ride. It was fun! I haven't done a country ride in a while and before today i've probably put only 50 miles on the R1. First time on a liter bike, lol.

Rebik, sorry you went down bro. I hope you can get the bike fixed up. If you need any help or a garage to put things together, give me a hollar.

Great ride today! Thanks for leading El Presidente, and to the other ride leaders for running tail and keeping everything together!

Haucke, like was said give it some time, and your rear will be able to handle the longer seat times, althought new seat and riding pants won't hurt....and like Fixxer said, gloves can be a hand saver if you unfortunately have to use them!

Werehusky, hope all it well bro! Sometimes, things happen and just tray and take it for a learning experience, and you're not physically hurt so that's the important part!!!

Before getting a new seat I know someone that took the cover off her seat change the padding some so she could touch both feet to the ground. She put in some of the memory foam and said it feels good with less thickness than the origional stuff. You might want to take the cover off and see about putting some better stuff in there yourself and save a bunch of money.

Nice ride- glad I got there in time-BARELY. Nice meeting everyone! And Beni don't worry about leading us down a gravel road. I rode down there not too long ago and there was nothing wrong with it until Johnson county decided to "fix" it.

If you zoom in on the route I posted up you can see the road is pavement so it must have been a recent "upgrade" to that road.

Yes, but google lies. They have several gravel roads colored yellow. They screwed up their map software awhile back. Although I did just check 51 and the have corrected it, they use to have Co Rd 1014 yellow and FM 51 was just a grey line.

51 was fun last time we road down it, other than the folks cutting grass around it.

I saw someone had a GoPro mounted. Were there any pictures from that?

Thanks for the ride! Wish I could have stayed till the end, had made prior obligations plan on staying with ya'll all the way next time! Great first ride!!

Haucke~ As DemonDuck said I had to do some customizing to my seat so that I could get both feet flat, the memory foam worked great. That was the first ride and longest time I have ever spent on the bike and I didn't have any issues from the seat was very comfortable.
