Moderate ride - Saturday Sept. 24th

Post by DarcShadow » Tue Sep 20, 2011 10:53 am

I'll lead a moderate ride this Saturday.

If there is another ride leader that wants to lead a second group we'll try and put together a Moderate & Intermediate ride.

I'm also debating on changing the start point, possibly moving it to Weatherford for this ride. Once I decide on the actual route and find out if we'll have one group or 2 I'll post up details.

Ok, here's the details for my ride.
Moderate pase, on Saturday, we'll meet up at the Chick-fil-A in Weatherford just off of I-20 and 171, exit 408
The ride will leave Chick-fil-A at 9:00am.

Doubtful that I will be able to make this because of my daughters soccer game in the late morning (she will probably be done around the same time El Diabro is finished his boobie walk).

Does that help?

I see where you would be confused...the title mentions sunday. I just read moderate ride..24th...I skipped over the rest.

Well, depending on the day I'll be up for something, I've got tread to burn up before I buy new tires.

Not me...my bike. I really don't think Fixxer wants to have to WATCH her get rebuilt (because I would have to do it next time). I try to spare him as much pain as possible. But I have been down a gravel road before, although it was not suppose to be. I was doing about 60mph when I hit it and well....let's just say, it was always paved so I don't know what was up with the gravel.

I think that's why I initially posted up that I'm game for this because I thought it was sunday :)

I can't do Sunday but maybe another ride leader will be able to.

Ok, here's the details for my ride.
Saturday, we'll meet up at the Chick-fil-A in Weatherford just off of I-20 and 171, exit 408
The ride will leave Chick-fil-A at 9:00am.

I'm in for whatever, I guess the plan here is the ride(s) is on Saturday, if enough people show up and there is more than one ride leader then two groups will depart that location, one moderate and one intermediate, correct?

That means the expectation being set is moderate, however an intermediate MAY become available but don't expect one, correct?

I don't have any problems showing up in leather so I have the option of intermediate, then just doing a moderate if that is what it becomes.

Unless someone steps up ahead of time so I can plan out two different routes that will meet up a lunch we will only have one moderate group.

Ok I'll watch the thread, if its just moderate I'd rather wear mesh, its gonna get toasty later in the day.
